Indian Police Force Review: Is Rohit Shetty's 'Indian Police Force' Worth A Weekend Binge Watch? Read Review

Indian Police Force Review: The first season of Rohit Shetty's web series 'Indian Police Force' has launched on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. It stars the trio of Siddharth, Shilpa, and Vivek Oberoi.

  • Web Series: Indian Police Force Season 1
  • Cast: Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Sidharth Malhotra, Sharad Kelkar, Vivek Oberoi etc.
  • Director: Rohit Shetty and Sushant Prakash
  • OTT: Amazon Prime Video

The web series 'Indian Police Force' by director Rohit Shetty, who created the cop universe, has been released on OTT. As soon as we hear the name 'Indian Police Force', we remember Ajay Devgan's 'Singham' in which Rohit Shetty's perfect style is visible. There are emotions, there is action, there is comedy and there is also a story. In such a situation, expectations from the 'Indian Police Force' increase. Now the question arises whether Rohit Shetty's small screen cop universe has lived up to people's expectations or not. Read the review of the web series.

Such is the story of the web series

Kabir Malik (Siddharth Malhotra) is a Delhi Police Inspector who works under Inspector Vikram (Vivek Oberoi). Many blasts happen one after the other in Delhi due to which Delhi gets scared. However, the terrorists escaped from the custody of Delhi Police. The result is that after Delhi, blasts started happening in other cities of India. In such a situation, Kabir and Vikram, along with Inspector Tara Shetty (Shilpa Shetty) and the Delhi Police team, get to the bottom of the case and try to catch the mastermind of the blast.

The trio of Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi

For the first time, Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty, and Vivek Oberoi have been seen together on screen. The entry scene of Vivek Oberoi and Siddharth Malhotra at the beginning of the web series is very funny. There is a blast in the background and both the heroes enter in slow motion. This scene should get 10 out of 10. Because of this scene, expectations from Rohit Shetty and the 'Indian Police Force' increase.

Rohit Shetty's direction

However, after watching 'Indian Police Force', one feels nothing but disappointment. In this, Rohit Shett's style is seen only in the first and last two episodes. It seems that Rohit Shetty was so busy making 'Singham Again' that he handed over the direction of the other four episodes to his co-director Sushant Prakash.

Made a mistake here

Along with the direction, the story and dialogues of the web series have also disappointed. It seems that the author has written this story in a hurry. Neither emotions have been added to it nor has it been spiced up with dialogues. Even the story of the three main characters has not been woven well. Because of all this, this eight-episode web series seems quite long. It seems that the story is being dragged forcibly.

See it or not?

If you like Rohit Shetty's style then this web series will disappoint you. Because there is nothing like Rohit Shetty's most liked film 'Singham' in it. Yes, if you like Sharad Kelkar then you can watch this web series. His role is small but powerful.
