Box Office Collection: Prabhas Salaar Hits Lakh Mark In Earnings, Crosses Rs 650 Crore Worldwide On 13th Day
Like 'Dunki', the earnings of Prabhas's film 'Salaar' have also started declining. Directed by Prashant Neel, this film created a storm on its opening and had a huge impact on the box office. The film set a lot of flags in terms of earnings.
Prabhas's film 'Salaar' was released on 21st December, just a day after Shahrukh Khan's 'Dunki'. Seeing the advance booking of both, it was decided that there was going to be a close fight between the two, but as soon as the film was released, everyone came to know that this South film is going to be a huge hit. Opening at more than Rs 90 crore, 'Salaar' created such a roar at the domestic box office that its echoes are still being heard. This film has made a worldwide gross collection of Rs 650 crore in 13 days. It has been included in the bumper-earning films of the year 2023.
According to the report of Sacnilk, 'Saalar' has reached very close to Rs 400 crore at the domestic box office. The earnings of this film are gradually going down and it earned Rs 5.18 crore on the 13th day i.e. second Wednesday. The film has collected a total of Rs 373.50 crore so far.
'Saalar' has made huge earnings in 13 days
Talking about the worldwide collection, the film had earned Rs 639.34 crore in 12 days. At the same time, in 13 days the film has made a worldwide gross collection of Rs 650 crore. The budget of 'Saalar' is Rs 400 crore. In such a situation, it is still lagging behind its cost in terms of net collection in the country.
'Salaar' lags behind 'Dunki' at foreign box office
If we compare the earnings of this film with the overseas earnings of 'Dunki' then the figures are surprising. While 'Dunki' has collected Rs 203.92 crores, much less than 'Salaar' at the Indian box office, it has crossed the Rs 400 crore mark worldwide. But according to Sacnilk, while 'Saalar' has collected Rs 130.00 crore abroad in 12 days, 'Dunki' has collected Rs 154.25 crore in 12 days. That is, if we talk about earning abroad, Shahrukh's 'Dunki' has won.
Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu and Shruti Haasan with Prabhas in 'Salaar'
Let us tell you that after 'Bahubali' and 'Bahubali 2', Prabhas's 'Salaar' has become the third film to earn such a bumper. Earlier, many films released by Prabhas were not successful at the box office but now 'Salaar' has filled that gap. In this South film 'Salaar', along with Prabhas, there are veteran stars like Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, Shruti Haasan, and Shriya Reddy.
