Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming film Ramayana is continuously in the headlines these days. Every day some information or the other is coming out regarding this. Ranbir Kapoor will play the role of Lord Ram in the film. Whereas, Sai Pallavi will be seen in the role of Mother Sita. Apart from this, KGF star Yash is going to be seen in the role of Ravana.
Now a new update has come regarding the cast of this film. It is being told that Sunny Deol will play a major role in the film. According to a report in Pinkvilla, Sunny Deol has been approached by the makers of Ramayana to play the role of Lord Hanuman.
A source told the news portal that Nitesh Tiwari and his team members are in talks with Sunny Deol to play a crucial role. The actor has reportedly shown interest in being a part of Nitish Tiwari's presentation of Ramayan and is also excited to play the role of Lord Hanuman.
However, the film has not been officially announced yet. The makers have maintained silence on this till now and have also kept the details of the cast a secret. According to media reports, this film of Ranbir and Sai will go on the floors around February 2024. Yash is expected to join the shooting in July 2024. The film is planned to be released on the big screen in 2025.
It is noteworthy that after the success of Gadar 2, Sunny Deol's star is at its peak these days. This film has made a business of more than Rs 525 crore at the box office. The film was released in theaters on August 11 and even after almost two months, it is being screened across the country. The film is directed by Anil Sharma. Along with Sunny, Ameesha Patel, Utkarsh Sharma, Manish Wadhwa, and Simrat Kaur are also in lead roles.
