Akshay Kumar's film 'OMG 2' is now streaming on OTT platform Netflix after the theatre. Many questions have been raised regarding the content of the film even before its release. The film is based on sex education. This has been specially made keeping in mind today's teenagers. Now Akshay Kumar talked about this topic and said that this film is especially made for children, but they cannot watch it because it has been given an adult certificate by the Censor Board. The actor also said that the story of the film is based on a true incident, in which a boy was expelled from school.


Akshay Kumar does not do such films for money


Akshay Kumar said that when he does films on such subjects, earning money is not his aim. Speaking to ANI, the actor said, “This is my way of giving back to society. I know that if I make ‘Singh Is King’, or ‘Sooryavanshi’, or ‘Rowdy Rathod’, I will earn 3-4 times more.” Akshay Kumar said that he can easily make light-hearted films that give him more returns but prefers to make films like 'Padman', 'Toilet Ek Prem Katha' and 'Airlift' which have a good social message. It happens.


Has anyone made such films?


Akshay Kumar asked, “Does anyone dare to make films on issues like masturbation or sex education? You tell me, has anyone made a film on this, here or even in Hollywood?”


“I did films like OMG 2 for children. This is a film which children should watch. But sadly, they can't watch it because the film has got an adult certificate. Whereas there is nothing adult in the film.” Akshay said that the same version shown on Netflix was shown in the theatre. The actor said that he had the option to show the uncensored version of the film on OTT, but he respected the censor board.


Akshay said, “It has the same cuts that were in the theatre. I could have shown such an uncensored version, but I wanted to respect the censor board and I did what the censor board passed.” Akshay said that it is based on the story of a boy, who was caught doing this in school and after that the school authorities expelled him.
