Sandeep Reddy Vanga: Ranbir Had Contacted Sandeep After Watching Kabir Singh, Due To This He Could Not See The Messages

The filmmaker has made an interesting revelation about Ranbir during a recent conversation. He said that the actor had contacted him long before 'Animal' after the release of Shahid Kapoor starrer 'Kabir Singh', but he had not seen Ranbir's message. Sandeep mentioned that he no longer checks his text messages regularly, due to the widespread use of WhatsApp for communication.

Due to this reason, I did not see Ranbir's message

While sharing an incident related to Ranbir Kapoor, he said that Ranbir had sent him an SMS, but Sandeep had missed it, as due to the prevalent use of WhatsApp, he had gotten into the habit of not checking the messages. Sandeep also recalled a similar situation with Anil Kapoor, who also sent him a message, which he ignored.

Didn't want to work in a remake

He explained that he often misses reading some messages due to the sheer volume of messages from sources like banks and Facebook. When questioned about the possibility of Ranbir Kapoor being a part of Arjun Reddy, the 2019 Hindi remake of Kabir Singh, Sandeep was quick to respond, saying that Ranbir had clearly expressed his reluctance to do the remake.

Kabir Singh was a blockbuster

The film Kabir Singh starred Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in the lead roles, while Arjun Reddy starred Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey in the lead roles. Both films were successful at the ticket window.
