Prabhas is going to share the screen with Deepika Padukone for the first time in 'Kalki 2898AD'. Strong VFX has been used in the film. Looking at the VFX of the first look of the film, it seems that the makers have worked hard. Recently, Nag Ashwin also attended the Tech Fest held at IIT Bombay. Where he talked about the VFX of the film and its constant comparison with Hollywood films.

When asked whether 'Kalki...' can be called India's 'Star Wars', Nag Ashwin said,

"I want it to be called 'Kalki' of India. We have not tried to replicate any other film. Therefore, it should be seen as it is in the original.

Talking about the technical part of the film, Ashwin said,

"I hope all these VFX work well and look good on screen. Making a movie with heavy VFX in India is very challenging. But I also believe that things are improving and we are very close to achieving our vision.

Nag Ashwin did not share any other details regarding the film. Neither about the sequel of the film nor about the plot. In answering every question, he just said that the details of everything would be revealed only after the official announcement.
