Welcome Pakistan: Hindi Cinema Opened Doors For Pakistani Artists, Starting With Atif Aslam


Hindi cinema has opened its doors for Pakistani artists after their petitions for ban in India were rejected first by the Bombay High Court and then by the Supreme Court. Starting with famous singer Atif Aslam, who is making a comeback in Hindi cinema with director Amit Kasaria's film 'Love Story of Nineties'.


Adhyayan Suman is the hero of the film 'Love Story of Nineties'. And, Miss Universe Diva Divita Rai is starting her career with this film along with studies. It is said that the makers of the film have selected famous Pakistani singer-lyricist Atif Aslam after considering the names of many singers. He believes that the music of the film should be beyond the borders.


Singer Atif Aslam is returning to Bollywood after almost eight years with the film 'Love Story of Nineties'. In the Hindi cinema scene, Atif recorded three versions of the songs 'Pehli Nazar Mein' and 'Bakhuda Tumhi Hot' from 'Race' and 'Kismat Connection' in the year 2008. In the next year 2009, he sang the songs 'Tu Jaane Na' and 'Tera Hone Laga Hoon' for the film 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani'.


The song ‘Jeena Jeena’ from the film ‘Badlapur’ topped various charts and was one of the biggest hits of 2015 for which he also got a Best Playback Singer nomination. In the year 2017, the song 'Dil Diyan Galla' from the film 'Tiger Zinda Hai' also enthralled the audience. Haresh Sangani and Dharmesh Sangani, producers of the film 'Love Story of Nineties' say, 'We are very happy that Atif has sung the first song of his comeback in our film 'Love Story of Nineties'.


Haresh Sangani and Dharmesh Sangani, producers of the film 'Love Story of Nineties', say that apart from Atif Aslam, many other top singers like Udit Narayan, Amit Mishra, and Aman Trikha have also sung songs in this film. The film also has a wonderful song dedicated to Ganpati Bappa. Both say, 'We are hoping that the album of our film will be the best album of 2024.'
