Superpower Of 'Hanuman' Is Making A Splash In Theatres, Earning Better Than Bollywood's 'Merry Christmas'

Telugu actor Tej Sajja's film 'Hanuman' was also released in Hindi. This film received excellent reviews and its special effects were highly praised. Based on these praises, the Hindi version of 'Hanuman' is making strong earnings in theaters and has overtaken 'Merry Christmas' in the first weekend.

In the last few years, solid films coming from the South are earning well in Hindi also. 'Hanuman' from the Telugu industry is now ready to become the latest entry in this list. This superhero film based on mythology started giving a dose of entertainment to the audience in theaters from the very first day and registered a solid opening in the Hindi version as well.

Telugu actor Tej Sajja starrer 'Hanuman' has received solid reviews and the spectacular visual effects of this film, made on a very limited budget, are being praised a lot. People are also liking the Hindi dubbing of the film. The solid word of mouth received from the public has given 'Hanuman' a strong start in Hindi and it has earned better than the Bollywood release 'Merry Christmas' in the first weekend.

Weekend collection of 'Hanuman'

Tej Sajja's film, which was released on Friday, started getting a solid audience in Hindi from the very first day. 'Hanuman', released on limited screens on the first day, opened its account with a collection of Rs 2.15 crore. The effect of praise started becoming visible on the second day and as the demand increased, its shows were also increased. The result was that the film's earnings almost doubled on Saturday and it collected more than Rs 4 crore.

The solid jump of 'Hanuman' at the box office continued on the third day as well. The film has made a net collection of around Rs 15 crore in India on Sunday. In this, the share of the earnings of the Hindi version of the film is more than Rs 6 crore. That means, in the first weekend, the Hindi version of 'Hanuman' has collected more than Rs 12 crore at the box office.

Hindi collection of 'Hanuman' better than big Bollywood releases

Bollywood's first big film in the new year, 'Merry Christmas' also reached theaters on Friday itself. This film starring Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif was released in Hindi as well as Tamil and Telugu. 'Merry Christmas' opened its account with a collection of Rs 2.2 crore in Hindi on the first day. There was a slight jump in the film's collection on the second day and it earned Rs 3.1 crore.

If reports are to be believed, the film has collected between Rs 3.5 crore to Rs 4 crore at the Indian box office on Sunday. In this, the collection of Hindi versions is a little more than 3 crores. The Hindi version of 'Merry Christmas', which became the first big release from Bollywood in the new year, has collected around Rs 9 crore at the box office in the first weekend.

'Hanuman', a film from the South made on a small budget and without special promotion, is earning better than this in Hindi. Shriram Raghavan's 'Merry Christmas' is getting rave reviews and praise from the public. But this film is not getting the audience it should have.

On the other hand, 'Hanuman' is a superhero film based on mythology. The hero of the film gets the powers of Lord Hanuman, due to which he is successful in stopping the dreaded villain of the modern era. Director Prashant Verma is going to create a complete universe with this film, in which his characters will be seen using ancient powers to fight modern villains. And the way 'Hanuman' is earning solid money in Hindi also, the upcoming films of this universe can get huge success in the entire country.
