This film, which was released in theaters on December 1 last year, was released on OTT on January 26. The release of this film by Sandeep Reddy Vanga gave rise to a new debate among the audience. Ranbir Kapoor also expressed his opinion about doing action for the first time in the film. His co-star Bobby Deol asked him whether he was tired of doing so much action in the film, to which he said no because this was the first time he was doing action in a film.


Praising Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Ranbir says that the 'Animal' director has a different approach to shooting action films. He is not like those directors who keep the action scenes in between. Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna were seen in important roles along with Ranbir Kapoor in 'Animal'.
