This film, directed by Sriram Raghavan, seems to be successful in winning the hearts of Indian and foreign audiences as well. Recently the trailer of the film was shown at 'New York Times Square'. Katrina Kaif's acting in the film is praiseworthy. 'Merry Christmas', released on January 12, earned Rs 9.73 crore at the domestic box office in three days. On the fourth day, it did a business of only Rs 1.65 crore. The total collection of four days of 'Merry Christmas' has been only Rs 11.38 crore.
Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu's much-awaited film 'Guntur Karam' also hit the theaters on January 12. Mahesh Babu has worked with the film's writer-director Trivikram Srinivas for 14 years. It is an action drama film, which also stars Jayaram, Sreeleela, Meenakshi Choudhary, Jagapathi Babu, and Ramya Krishnan in lead roles. 'Guntur Karam' did a business of Rs 68.9 crore at the box office within three days of its release. At the same time, it earned Rs 14.50 crore on the fourth day. In this way, the total collection of 'Guntur Karam' at the Indian box office so far has become Rs 83.40 crore.
