'Gadar 2' hit the screens on August 11 and broke many records. This film has overtaken Shahrukh Khan's films in terms of ticket sales. In 17 days, 'Gadar 2' has earned Rs 456.05 crore from the domestic ticket window. Whereas 'Pathan' had earned Rs 464 crore in these days.

Gadar 2 collected Rs 500 crore from across the country. This became the third film in Hindi cinema history to do so. Earlier, Baahubali 2 and Shahrukh Khan's Pathaan had achieved this feat. But 'Gadar 2' became the fastest film to earn Rs 500 crore.
