Fighter Trailer: Hrithik's Film Based On Pulwama Attack And Airstrike Will Blow Away The Ticket Windows
Pathaan fame Siddharth Anand's Fighter looks like a full-on patriotic film. Hearing the dialogue of 'Baap', it seems as if we are watching the trailer of Gadar.
The trailer of Hrithik Roshan's new film Fighter has arrived. The story of the film is based on the 2019 Pulwama Attack and the subsequent Balakot Airstrike. At first glance, looking at the trailer, it seems that the makers have tried their best to capitalize on today's atmosphere. Be it Pakistan bashing or calling India the 'father' of Pakistan, you will find everything here. Gadar 2 has confirmed the belief that if you make Pakistan the villain of your film, then there is a full guarantee of success. ‘Fighter’ also follows the same footsteps.
The story of 'Fighter' is about some Air Force officers. A team has been formed by selecting some strong fighter pilots. Its name is ‘Quick Response Team’ (QRT). While team bonding and laughter are going on, the Pulwama attack of 2019 happens. This QRT is chosen to avenge this attack. These people go and do airstrikes in POK i.e. Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. This story has been shown with a lot of spice and creative liberty.
Ever since the first look of the fighter came out, the makers have been accused of copying 'Topgun- Maverick'. But Siddharth Anand is that filmmaker who has the wisdom to imitate. They collect things from ten places and prepare a good product and give it to you. We saw this during 'Pathan'. But ‘Fighter’ is a film two steps ahead of that. It is being called India's first aerial action film. In the film, we will get to see a sky battle between the Indian and Pakistani Air Force. But the dialogue in the film are very strange. As if, he has been kept in the film only to attract a section of the audience. For example,
* “A fighter is not one who achieves his targets. He is the one who knocks them down.”
* They (Pakistan) will have to show who the 'father' is.
You will find many more such dialogues in the trailer itself. What to say about the picture! And there is nothing new in it. It seems as if the father's dialogue has been lifted from WhatsApp itself. Because whenever India beats Pakistan in cricket, these quotes start being forwarded. Accusations of copying are being made on the visuals. Dialogues have been taped from here and there. When the first song of the film ‘Sher Khul Gaye’ came, it was accused of stealing the tune of ‘Stayin Alive’. So what is the original? Now don't say that only entertainment and not originality should be expected from Siddharth Anand's film. Since when did humiliating others to prove oneself a patriot become the criteria? But the trailer almost confirms that this film will be seen. Because the makers have kept every spice in the film, due to which the film will be appreciated.
Actors like Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Sanjeeda Sheikh, and Akshay Oberoi have worked with Hrithik Roshan in 'Fighter'. This film has been directed by Siddharth Anand, who has made films like 'Anjaana Anjaani', 'Bang Bang' and 'Pathan'. ‘Fighter’ is hitting the theaters on January 25.
