In the passing year, the coming weekend is quite special for the cinema lovers of the entertainment industry. Two big-budget films of this year are ready for release. Bollywood's Romancing King and South's Bahubali Prabhas are going to be seen face to face at the box office for the first time.
Generally in the film industry, when two big-budget films clash, all kinds of things are made about it. Opinions regarding their clash have also been shared from both sides. Let us tell you, producer Vijay of Salaar's production house Humbale has given his opinion on this clash.
Vijay says, 'First of all, let me clear that we have not deliberately got the films classified. Prashant has already given clarity regarding this controversy. Look, we all know but it is not right to clash on someone's date but due to some technical reasons we had to come. However, many types of discussions also took place before this. Ultimately we have taken this decision on the basis that this is the last long weekend of the year. The entire window from 22nd December to 2nd January is vacant, only these two films are coming. It's like a holiday season of ten days, so we are releasing it, otherwise, we were thinking of coming in next April-May. Since it's taken so long, things won't get much worse. ,
Vijay further says, 'We know that Shahrukh Khan has given two blockbusters this year. However, it is confident that the films are of two different genres. The temperament of both is different. Now the audience has the choice to watch Salaar one weekend and Donkey the next. Although so many films are being made in a year, I would like that now such clashes should be normalized.
It will be interesting to see who wins at the box office after the clash between the two films. Booking of both films has also started and if the makers are to be believed, both the films are getting tremendous response.
