'Animal' has made a gross collection of 5.28 million dollars (Rs 44 crore) in Canada within 12 days. Reaching this figure, Ranbir's film has left behind Shahrukh Khan's blockbuster 'Jawaan'. 'Jawan' did a business of 5.27 million dollars in Canada. Now 'Animal' has become the second biggest Indian film in Canada.


Currently, the record of the biggest Indian film in Canada is in the name of Shahrukh's 'Pathan', which did a business of 6 million dollars (more than Rs 50 crore). But now soon Ranbir's film will leave Shahrukh's film behind and Ranbir will become the biggest Indian superstar in Canada.

'Animal' collected more than Rs 401 crore net at the Indian box office in 11 days. Shahrukh's 'Jawaan' also crossed the Rs 400 crore mark at the Indian box office in the same number of days and now both these films are the fastest films to reach this milestone.


Tuesday's trade reports say that 'Animal' has made a net collection of around Rs 13 crore in India on the 12th day. With this, the net collection of the film in India has reached close to Rs 458 crore. After 12 days, 'Animal' has earned around Rs 412 crore only from the Hindi version.
