Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi starrer Tiger 3 has become the biggest Diwali release ever as it crossed the Rs 400 crore mark worldwide today. With this magical number, Salman now has two of the top 3 highest-grossing films to release on Diwali, Tiger 3 and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Commenting on the huge success of Tiger 3 and his personal Diwali record, Salman Khan said, 'It is very encouraging that my two favorite characters Prem and Tiger have entertained people so much on Diwali. As an actor, I have only focused on creating memories for people through my brand of cinema and I am fortunate that they have loved me back. Tiger 3 has collected Rs 400 crore worldwide in 10 days.
Salman Khan further said about Tiger 3, 'Milestones are always special but what is even more amazing is creating characters that remain in the hearts of the audience forever. I hope that people will always like Prem and Tiger equally because for me both these characters have brought me a lot of popularity. So, I can't choose one over the other. I am glad that Prem and Tiger have made Diwali special for families and audiences of all age groups.
