The Pace Of Tiger 3 Slowed Down, Even After 5 Days, Salman Is Far From Rs 200 Crore At The Box Office

Salman Khan's latest film 'Tiger 3' is running in theatres. But the craze for this film does not seem to be as stormy as it was for this year's big films 'Pathan', 'Jawaan' or 'Gadar 2'. Even after 5 days, Salman's film seems to be far from the Rs 200 crore mark.

Not only the fans but also the box office were eagerly waiting for the return of Salman Khan's spy avatar, Tiger. Having seen three Bollywood films earning more than Rs 500 crore this year, the box office was expecting huge earnings from 'Tiger 3' also. Salman, who reached the theaters on Sunday on the occasion of Diwali, also did a blast at the box office and recorded the biggest opening of his career.

The collection of Rs 44.50 crore on the first day may have been the biggest opening day for Salman at the box office, but the start was not as strong as was expected. 'Tiger 3' has been at the box office for 5 days now. The film's earnings at the box office have been decent, but its pace seems to be slowing down a bit.

Continuously decreasing earnings

After Sunday's strong opening, Salman's film made record-breaking collections on the second day. 'Tiger 3' collected Rs 58 crore on Monday from the Hindi version alone. No film till now had earned much money at the box office on its first Monday. 'Tiger 3' earned Rs 1.25 crore from the dubbing version on the second day.

The film's earnings declined by less than 25% on Tuesday. 'Tiger 3' made a net collection of Rs 44.75 crore in India on this day. But on the fourth day, Salman's film saw a big decline for the first time and on Wednesday its earning was a little more than Rs 21 crore. The earnings of 'Tiger 3' could reach only Rs 169 crore in 4 days.

There was a decline in the earnings of 'Tiger 3' on Thursday also

Trade reports suggest that the film's collection continued to decline on Thursday and on the 5th day the film earned only around Rs 18 crore. Net India collection of 'Tiger 3' has reached only around Rs 187 crore in 5 days.

Reports say that 'Tiger 3' is the most expensive film of Yash Raj Films. Its reported budget is said to be Rs 300 crore. Before Salman's film, Spy Universe's previous film 'Pathan' had done a business of more than Rs 500 crore at the box office.

The spy universe started with the spy character played by Salman, Tiger, and the fans have been waiting for a long time to see Salman in this role. But despite this huge opening, 'Tiger 3' has not been able to make a net collection of Rs 200 crores, which was collected in 4-5 days for this year's biggest films 'Pathan', 'Jawaan' and 'Gadar 2'. Was.

Did Tiger's magic fade due to a World Cup hangover?

The impact of the Cricket World Cup on the earnings of 'Tiger 3' is clearly visible. While there was a match between India and Netherlands on the day of the film's release, on Wednesday India played the first semi-final with New Zealand. The first match was not very big, yet it affected the occupancy of 'Tiger 3' in the evening. Wednesday's semi-final was a big match and the film's earnings declined by more than 55% on the same day. The second semi-final of the World Cup was played between Australia and South Africa on Thursday. India was not in this match, but the semi-final of the World Cup is a big event.

The final of the World Cup 2023 is to be played between India and Australia on Sunday. On this day too, there will be fewer viewers in the shows of 'Tiger 3' from noon onwards. But before that, on Friday and Saturday, Salman's film has a good chance of making solid earnings. Salman, who is counted among the biggest superstars of Bollywood, has given the maximum number of films earning Rs 300 crore.

Salman has collected more than Rs 300 crore net thrice from 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', 'Sultan', and 'Tiger Zinda Hai'. But the budget of 'Tiger 3' itself is said to be Rs 300 crore. Now all eyes will be on how many days will it take for Salman's latest film to cross the Rs 300 crore landmark and how far it goes beyond this.
