'Salaar' Release Date: Prabhas Film Has Not Been Postponed Due To Shahrukh's 'Dunky', Will Be Released On December 22 Only
South actor Prabhas's film 'Salaar' will be released in theaters on December 22. This film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu Kannada and Malayalam. Which will directly compete with Shahrukh Khan's 'Dinky'. Earlier, Prashant Neel's movie was to be released on September 28. But due to some reasons, it was postponed.
Prabhas's most awaited film 'Saalar Part 1: Ceasefire' is all set to hit the theaters on its scheduled release date. While reports had claimed that the film's release has been postponed to avoid a box office clash with 'Dinky', it has now been confirmed that there has been no change in the release day of 'Salaar' Is. The trailer will be released in late November or early December.
Confirming this news, on Monday, film 'Trade Insider' analyst Ramesh Bala tweeted, 'Big news: The trailer of Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire will be released in late November or early December. Prashant Neel directed and Prabhas starrer action film is creating excitement among the public and the film will hit the theaters on its scheduled date of December 22, 2023.
Clash of 'Salar' with 'Dinky'
Prashant Neel and Prabhas are coming together for the first time with 'Salaar - Part 1'. It is made under the banner of Humble Films. It stars Prabhas, Shruti Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Jagapathi Babu. This movie will be released on December 22 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu Kannada and Malayalam. It will compete with Shahrukh Khan's 'Dinky'. Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal will also be seen in this film directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
Prithviraj Sukumaran had reacted
On the box office clash between 'Salaar' and 'Dinky', Prithviraj Sukumaran had told 'Hindustan Times', 'I don't know yet what the promotion plans are, the makers will tell us by November how they will present the film.
