At the trailer launching event of 'Animal', Bobby Deol shared an interesting anecdote about his character in the film. He said, 'First of all I want to thank Sandeep. Because of the situation of my career in those days. It was difficult for me to even imagine that I would get such a character. One day I got a call from Sandeep and he said that he wanted to meet me. At first, I thought it was a fraud call then I confirmed it. Called immediately. Planned to meet and met. He shows me an old photo of mine. This was a photo of those days when I did not do any work. Just used to play Celebrity Cricket League.
Referring to the photo, Bobby Deol further says, 'Sandeep has a photo taken during the cricket league, in which I am looking somewhere far away. By showing this photo he tells me that I want to take you because of your expression in it. I want that, so I thought it's okay, the photo from my days of unemployment came in handy.'
Bobby Deol calls himself a fan of Ranbir Kapoor
Bobby Deol declared himself a fan of Ranbir Kapoor at the event. He says, 'I am a big fan of Ranbir Kapoor's work. I have worked with many people in the industry but such simple and easygoing people are very difficult to find in our industry. When I was working with him, I would just get lost in his eyes. We have worked hard for this. Have worked very hard on body transformation.
